Adam Sandler’s new movie Click’s with audiences

It’s the start of a new week, so why not get all sentimental about last week? Let’s take a look at the week that was. At least, as far as stocks and movies are concerned. The stock market has started to stabalize, as we have no huge losses to report to you this week. In fact, all markets are only slightly down for the week. Will we see a buying binge next week? Well, you’ll just have to find out next week. Great, I’m teasing next week’s recap already. This can’t be a good sign at all.

Never doubt the power of Adam Sandler and a magical remote control. In what is typically a slow weekend at the box office, the comedy Click managed to pull in an estimated $40 million. Waist Deep, the Tyrese Gibson action vehicle, debuted in an unimpressive fourth place with $9.5 million. We won’t tell you about the other movies, because we’re pretty sure you can read the scoreboard below. (And they say that it’s not a talent to both compliment and belittle your readers in a single sentance.)
